Medronho Månadsträff i Tavira – onsdag 24 januari kl.11

Nu är det nytt år och nya chanser att lära sig något nytt och träffa andra trevliga Sweor.
Denna gång besöker vi ett Medronho destilleri i östra Algarve.
Vi får en guidad visning av fabriken på engelska, som avslutas med möjligheten att smaka denna traditionella dryck tillsammans med andra lokala produkter.

“Made from arbutus berries – the fruit of the strawberry tree – medronho, a type of brandy, is one of the most typical of the spirits produced in the Algarve. It is still produced in the traditional way, using low heat and copper stills with their fine coiled pipes. A traditional distillery with modern and up-to-date design, offers visitors the opportunity to learn about the ancient manufacturing process.”
